Didier Recloux was born in the french speaking part of Belgium to a Polish mother and a Belgian father. Showing an affinity for music early in his life, he was introduced to the art by his grandmother who came from a long lineage of musicians.
Classically trained in guitar, he went on to learn drums, took singing lessons and taught himself keyboard. He performed and sang at gigs with fellow students whilst studying at the music academy.
His first works of composition were scores for short films and documentaries by young film makers, an opening theme for a film festival and tracks for several websites. In the following years he obtained a diploma from the Los Angeles Film Music Institute writing music to pictures, and a certificate in music technology from IMW, London.
In october 2009, Didier attended a masterclass with Hollywood orchestrator Steven Scott Smalley in New York, provided music for the Financial Time Wealth section and scored the awards winning film "Desire Of The Pitbull Warrior", written by Lou Hamilton.
He has worked with Gordan Halaykievic (‘She loves me, She loves me not’, Carphone Warehouse, BMI, etc... ) on many commercials and has recorded with the renowned cellist Andrea Hess.
Didier currently resides in London.
